How to stay motivated every single day at all times?
Get to the hindsight. Procrastination is such a big problem because most people focus on what they want to do instead of focusing on what they should do.
“Let go of the misconception that our motivational state must match the task at hand. In fact, social psychologists have demonstrated that attitudes follow behaviors more than (or at least as much as) behaviors follow attitudes. When you start to act on your intention as intended, you will see your attitude and motivation change.”
― Timothy A. Pychyl, The Procrastination Puzzle
And. let’s face it. Life is not always that interesting and exciting the way we want it to be. But that’s the reality we cannot fix with temporary escapism.
And finally:
“Really successful people feel the same boredom and the same lack of motivation that everyone else feels. They don’t have some magic pills that make them feel ready and inspired every day. But the difference is that the people who stick with their goals don’t let their emotions determine their actions. Top performers still find a way to show up, to work through the boredom, and to embrace the daily practice that is required to achieve their goals.”
